The company is seeking four 240,000-300,000-barrel cargoes for loading over Jan. 21-31, Feb. 1-10, Feb. 11-20 and Feb. 21-28, they said.

The cargoes are to be loaded from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand.

CAO is also seeking a 25,000-tonne cargo, or about 200,000 barrels, of the product to be delivered into Huangpu, China over Feb. 3-5.

The tender closes on Dec. 27 and is valid until Dec. 28.

CAO is Asia's top jet fuel buyer and any spot purchases by the company usually support the Asian jet fuel market.

The firm last bought a cargo for mid-January delivery into Huangpu after purchasing nearly all of the 1.6 million barrels it had sought for December to January delivery, sources have said.

CAO's intake of spot barrels could likely be higher than previous months due to limited spot availability of jet fuel or kerosene from South Korean and Japanese refiners due to winter heating fuel demand, an industry source said.
