KARACHI:Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan will pay homage to legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra through a performance at the 13th Zee Cine Awards to be held in Mumbai.

According to Indian media reports, Khan has confirmed the news and will be seen dancing with leading ladies of Chopra's previous productions displaying his adoration for Indian cinema.

Chopra passed away on October 21 from dengue and multiple organ failure at the tender age of 80.

Khan had a close relationship with the filmmaker and they worked together in the blockbusters including "Darr", "Dil To Pagal Hai", "Veer Zaara" and most recently "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" which was Chopra's last directorial venture.

The 13th Zee Cine Awards ceremony will be held January 6 and will be aired on January 20, 2013 on Zee TV.
