Meanwhile five more ships scheduled to load/offload containers, wheat, diesel oil and coal also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy remained at the Port at 31% on Thursday where a total of four ships namely M.V Tycoon, M.T Sigloo Moon, M.T Theresa Blossom are currently occupancy berths to load/offload wheat, chemicals, furnace oil and palm oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 57,874 tonnes, comprising 53,319 tonnes imports and 4,555 tonnes exports was handled at the port 24 hours.
Chemicals carrier Sigloo Moon is expected to sail on Friday afternoon.
Four ships C.V APL Chile, C.V Glory, M.V Sam Eagle and M.V Shinyo Ayush scheduled to load/offload containers, wheat, diesel oil and coal were expected to take berths at QICT, FAP and IOCB respectively on Friday, April 1st. Two ships, chemicals carrier pertiwi and container ship MSC Magali are due to arrive at Port Qasim on same day, while another containers ship Libra Ipanema is due to arrive on Saturday.
