Meanwhile two more ships C.V Cape Flowers and Fredensborg with containers and Project Cargo also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim on Friday morning, 14th December.
Berth occupancy was managed at the Port at 36% on Thursday where five ships namely C.V City of Beijing, C.V Dubai Express, C.V NYK Kai, M.V Sai Eternity and M.T Mire are currently occupying at PQA berths to load/offload containers, Wheat and Furnace oil during last 24 hours.
Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 75,011 tonnes, Comprises 62,034 tonnes imports and 12,977 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 1,737 containers (1,054 imports and 683 exports TEUs) were handled at the Port.
Two Container Vessels City of Beijing and Dubai Express sailed out to sea on Friday morning, while two more ships C.V NYK Kai and M.T Mire are expected to sail on same day afternoon.
Three ships C.V Cape Flowers, Fredensborg and M.T Chemroad Lily carrying containers, Project Cargo and Phosphoric Acid are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and Engro Vopak Terminal respectively on Friday, 14th December while two ships C.V Clementina and M.T Lahore are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Saturday, 15th December 2012.
