Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Meanwhile another ship with containers also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

 

Berth occupancy was reported at the Port at 29% on Thursday where four ships namely C.V Hansa Liberty, M.V Sai Eternity, M.V Beautiful Rena and M.T Bunga Angelica are currently occupying at PQA berths to load/offload containers wheat, iron ore plates and palm oil during last 24 hours.

 

Cargo throughput during last 24 hours stood at 53,643 tonnes, comprises 34,997 tonnes imports and 18,646 tonnes exports inclusive containerized cargo carried in 1,213 containers (270 imports and 943 exports TEUs) were handled at the Port.

 

Container Vessel Hansa Liberty sailed out to sea on Friday morning.

 

Three ships C.V Lantau Arrow, C.V MSC Clementina and M.T AL Salam-II carrying containers and diesel oil are expected to take berths at Container Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Friday and two more ships M.T Stolt Pondo and M.T Karachi with phosphoric acid and furnace oil are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Saturday.
