This step is being taken by the gas utility to improve the line pack position all over Sindh province.

Short supply of gas from different gas fields causing depletion of line pack and low pressure in the system has badly disturbed the line pack position , said a statement by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) here Tuesday afternoon

The CNG associations , dealers and gas stations owners have cautioned that SSGC's monitoring teams would remain vigiliant in the field to ensure that CNG stations are closed.

In case a CNG station is found operating during the announced closure period, its gas supply will be disconnected for another 24 hours; beyond the closure period.

SSGC has regreted the inconvenience likely to be caused to the CNG users during the above notified 48 hour shut down period.
