Meanwhile six more ships scheduled to load/offload containers, chemicals, LPG and G cargo also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 65% at the Port Qasim on Wednesday where total number of seven ships namely AL Mutanabbi, Hanjin Venezia, M.S Fiesta, ILC Friendship, Changan, Argent Hibicus, and AL Soor II are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, G .cargo, chemical and diesel oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 103617 tonnes comprising 81824 tonnes import and 21793 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1903 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during last 24 hours.
