Govt. to take action against electricity companies

A high level meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday took decision reviewing the problems of load shedding‚ and demand and supply gaps.

 

The meeting was briefed that the current power generation is ten thousand seven hundred and forty megawatts against the demand of thirteen thousand megawatt.

 

The meeting decided that supply to public and private organizations not paying the electricity bills‚ will be disconnected.

 

Federal Ministers Qamar Zaman Kaira and Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar attended the meeting.
