Meanwhile four more ships scheduled to load/offload containers, edible oil and chemical also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 45% at the Port Qasim on Thursday where total number of five ships namely Nicolas Delmas, CGM Billini, Thurgau, Ocean Star and MV, Ana Dorothea are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, wheat and urea respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 32,872 tonnes comprising 14,751 tonnes imports and 18,121 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1,138 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
