Adeel lauds Zardari's announcement of reforms in FCR

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said the President has invited all the political forces for improving economy, taxation system and rooting out terrorism from the country.

He said all political parties should accept the proposal of the President in the best interest of the country by forming a parliamentary committee on the issues.

He endorsed the President for his proposal of passing a strong resolution against the desecration of Holy Quran and said that such steps of a few people of the western world create hatred against the west among the Muslims.

Haji Adeel proposed Karachi should be handed over to army for establishing peace in the metropolis to protect life and property of people.

ANP Member of National Assembly, Bushra Gohar has also warmly welcomed presidential address to the parliament.

She told Radio Pakistan that she described the address of an elected president of the country for the fourth time to the joint session of parliament as welcoming.

She termed President Zardari's statement of not allowing terrorists to use country's soil as very important and said President's commitment regarding Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) reforms was also a welcoming step.

She hoped for substantial reforms in FATA during the current year.

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo termed the presidential address to the joint session as a big achievement of the government.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he termed the fourth consecutive address of an elected president as a big achievement of present political government and congratulated all parties of ruling coalition for it. He said the address of President Zardari indicates that democracy is flourishing in the country.

He said presidential address was comprehensive, in which all sectors, including achievements of government and the parliament were discussed.
