Addressing an inaugural ceremony of the Establishment of the Model Science Labs established under Annual Development Programme (ADP) scheme titled invigoration and strengthening of lab teaching system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Government Girls' Higher Secondary School (GGHSS), Chamkani, he said that provincial and federal government will also restore all schools and colleges by the end of the current year.

Those who attended the function were included members provincial assembly, Manawar Sultana, Prince Javed, Director Education, Sarwar Jahan and Director IT, Sajid Khan.

He said that it was remarkable day that they are inaugurating the schedule of the modern scientific education from a school of the provincial metropolis. He said that the first function in his regard was arranged in Peshawar, which is headquarter and heart of the province. He said that the provincial government will make all out efforts for the development of Peshawar.

The provincial minister said that the constitution and election manifesto of ANP not only speaks of granting equal rights to men and women, but had also proved practically. He said that the party had 13 women legislators included Senators, MNAs and MPAs. Furthermore, he said that the provincial government also has a woman cabinet member with Sitara Ayaz as provincial minister for social welfare.

He said that the party had come into power in the province when it was facing the worst challenge of terrorism and militancy and the people of FATA and education institutions, particularly girls schools were targeted to deprive them of education.

Mohammad Ayub Khan, who hails from tourist's attractive district Swat, said that no school, bridge and hospital were spared by the terrorist in the area and a larger number of people were killed in the district. However, he said the leadership of ANP did not make any compromise and sacrificed more than 400 workers in the battle for the restoration of peace in Swat.

He said that people have mandated ANP for restoration of peace and they had accomplished it by defeating the terrorists who were running parallel administration and judiciary in the district. He said that the district has been cleared of the terrorists and tourists had started arrival in the area.

He termed the establishment of the scientific lab, a small gift on behalf of the government for the students, saying that the Director IT was making efforts for establishing such labs in all districts of the province. He said that with the assistance of the federal government and donors such modern labs would be established in all schools of the province.

The provincial minister said that the promotion of modern scientific knowledge is pre-requisite for joining the club of the developed countries, saying that provision of education and promotion of skill amongst the youth are the top priorities of the government. He said that the government is keen in provision of equal opportunities for women and men, saying that terrorism could be eliminated only with the development of education sector. "Terrorists were giving arms in the hands of youth, but we are arming them with pen," concluded the provincial minister.
