Published Updated

Addressing the joint session of the Parliament on the start of its 4th parliamentary year, the President said the increase of the foreign exchange reserves indicated trust in the present democratic government.

The President said the foreign remittances were 6.4 billion dollars in 2007 but due to the investment-friendly policies and trust in the democratic government, these remittances have been increased and set to cross the 11 billion dollar mark this year, which will also be a record in Pakistan's history.
