Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Meanwhile another ship Al-Kuwaitah with diesel oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim on same day.

 

Berth occupancy was maintained at the Port at fifty percent on Thursday where seven ships namely C.V CMA CGM Amber, C.V Hammonia Pacificum, M.V Sapphire-II, M,V AMS Pegasus-III, M.V Ananya Naree, M.T Chemroad Vega and M.T Ocean Mercury are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, corn, palm oil and diesel oil during lost 24 hours.

 

A cargo volume of 61,662 tonnes, comprises 34,513 tonnes imports and 27,149 tonnes exports, inclusive containerized cargo carried in 2,064 containers ( 1,014 imports and 1,050 exports TEUs) were handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

 

Two ships C.V CMA CGM Amber and M.T Chemroad Vega sailed out to sea on Friday morning while another ship C.V Hammonia Pacificum is expected to sail on same day.

 

A total six ships C.V MSC Scotland, C.V MSC Sina, C.V Asian Trader, M.T STX Force, M.T Bhai Ravi and M.T AI-Kuwaitah carrying containers, palm oil chemicals and diesel oil are expected to take berths at Qict, Lct, Evtl and Fotco respectively on Friday.
