Meanwhile four more ships scheduled to load/off load containers, chemical, edible oil and furnace oil are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Monday.
Berth occupancy was 85% at the Port on Tuesday where total number of nine ships namely MV, Sealand Washington, MSC Jemima, MV. Heckor, AMS Pegauses II, Shipphire II, Outrivaling-2, SFL Kent, MV. Karachi and Fuji Galaxy are currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, rice, corn, furnace oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 121975 tonnes comprising 87639 tonnes imports and 34336 tonnes exports Inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1939 containers (Boxes) were handle at the Port during fast 24 hours.
