The ‘Boyfriend’ singer informed his twitter army of 27 million, writing, “Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy.”

Executive Producer of the show Al Jean said that Bieber is playing himself in the show.

Giving a little detail about the role he said, “He [Bieber] tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him.”

“It’s a cameo, but all of his fans should watch every minute of the show, before and after he’s on,” Jean added.

The hit Fox show will be back on September 30 this year. It is not decided as to on what date the show will be aired however the episode will hit TVs sometime in 2013.

The Simpsons has starred many renowned artists in the past while Natalie Portman, Zooey Deschanel and Anne Hathaway are some expected guests for the upcoming 24th season of the franchise.
