LSE suspends BIICL’s trading

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) has suspended the trading of Business and Industrial Insurance Company Limited with effect from August 13 (Monday).

According to the LSE circular, Business and Industrial Insurance Company Limited has not so far removed the cause of suspension of trading in its shares. Therefore, it has been decided in the interest of trade and public and in exercise of the powers vested in the Exchange under Section 9(7) of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969 and Listing Regulation No. 30, that trading in the shares of Business and Industrial Insurance Company Ltd shall remains suspended for a further period of 60 days from August 13.
