Vegetable prices decrease

According to rate list issued by Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA), apples are being sold at Rs 60 to 120 per kilogram, bananas Rs 50 to Rs 130 per dozen, melons Rs 40 per kg, water melon Rs 25 to 40, Mango Rs 40 to Rs 70 per kg, apricot Rs100 per kg, peech 50 to 100 and dates at Rs150 to 250 per kg.

While the prices of vegetables have decreased as ridge gourd are being sold at Rs26 per kilogram, turnip Rs 30 per kg, tomatoes Rs54 per kg, lady finger Rs24 per kg, potatoes Rs160 per five kg, bitter gourd Rs 14 per kg, green peas Rs 100 per kg, turnip Rs 30 per kg, red pumpkin Rs 18 per kg, spinach (750 gram) Rs20 and brinjal at Rs14 per kg.
