KARACHI: Famous Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has recently been busy composing lyrics and music to his new songs. He will soon be heard on the big screen in Abbas Mustan’s new multi-starrer thriller “Race 2” which is the sequel to “Race I” produced under the banner of Tips Music.

Aslam previously sang the original soundtrack of “Pehli Nazar mein” for Race I, which was a big hit. He has always provided the Indian film industry with smash hits like “Tera Hone Laga Hoon” and “Tu Jaane Na”.

He sang in other films as well namely, “Prince”, “Tere Naal Love Hogaya” and “Bas Ek Pal”.

Race 2 casts Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel.

According to media sources, Aslam sang two songs in this film. However, the music to the movie has not been launched yet, but people always expect something new from Aslam.

The movie is about to complete it’s shooting in Turkey, but Aslam, along with Chakraborty, the music director and composer of Race 2, are having a hectic time with all the scheduling and rescheduling of concerts, among other things.

The movie is scheduled to be released in the beginning of 2013.
