In an earnings filing to the Hong Kong bourse, the carrier said it had bought 15 Airbus A330-300 aircraft and 10 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in March.

In December, it ordered two Airbus A350-900s aircraft.

The company said the catalogue price of the March orders was worth HK$46.7 billion ($6 billion).
