Chicago Board of Trade soyabean futures fell on Friday as investors locked in some profits after three straight higher closes, traders said.
Soyameal and soyaoil futures also fell.
For the week, CBOT July soyabean futures were down 0.6%. CBOT July soyameal dipped 0.5% and CBOT July soyaoil sank 4.2%.
Private exporters reported the sale of 136,000 tonnes of soyabeans to China and 125,000 tonnes of soyabeans to Mexico, the US Agriculture Department said. It was the third day in a row a sale to China was announced.
