Way back in December 2019, Taher Shah of Eye to Eye fame broke a nearly three-year hiatus to announce on his social media he'd be releasing new material "soon".

He didn't drop many hints what it would be about but with so much going wrong in 2020, the cryptic announcement gave something promising to look forward to.

The song was delayed several times, from March 14 to March 23 to April 10 and finally dropped just before the day ended - but it seems we all have waited for nothing.

The song is entirely an Urdu translation of his 2016 song 'Angel', this time with an insanely creepy animated boy-prince riding a unicorn and trading flowers with fairies. Taher Shah himself is nowhere in the entire video, which is another disappointment in itself.

The ending suggests it might be Taher's son, but who knows? The singer and producer is very protective about his personal life.

It's below par from Taher Shah, whose previous works have been original and given everyone something to appreciate and delve into.
