ISTANBUL: Turkish primary dealers borrowed a total 1 billion lira ($548.31 million) from the central bank's overnight repo facility at a rate of 11 percent on Tuesday, central bank data showed.
Turkish Central Bank has returned on Monday to its "exceptional days" policy where it applies additional liquidity tightening to support the lira, through expensive intraday repo auctions.
