The league leaders aim to maintain their fitness levels for when the season resumes.

The coronavirus outbreak and social distancing guidelines mean that Premier League clubs have been unable to train as normal over the last fortnight.

However, the former Champions league winning squad have been set individual home workout programmes since Melwood Training Ground shut nearly two weeks ago.

Each member of the squad was given a tailored regime to be carried out in home gyms and gardens, but the squad is set to be reunited over video link next week, according to the Daily Star.

The session will be run by Jurgen Klopp’s coaching staff from their own homes as Reds players aim to ensure they are ready for a final push towards the Premier League title when professional football returns.

30 April is the provisional date for when the Premier League and English Football League is scheduled to restart, but that timescale appears ambitious given the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic across the country.
