Forex reserves up $126 million

The country's liquid foreign exchange reserves rose by $126 million during last week.
According to weekly foreign exchange reserves report issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), total liquid forex reserves held by the country stood at $18.869 billion as on February 28, 2020 compared to $18.743 billion on February 21, 2020.
During the week, the SBP's reserves increased by $166 million to $12.758 billion up from $12.592 billion. However, reserves held by banks declined by $40 million to $6.11 billion at the end of last week.
