Punjab sets up 3rd online home delivery shop

On the directions of Punjab Govt the District Administration has established 3rd online home delivery Drust Dam shop at D Type Pull main Sammundri road. The D Type Colony, Samanabad, Abdullah Colony, Nawabanwala, Muzaffar Colony, Maqsoodabad, Nisar Colony, Allama Iqbal Colony and adjacent citizen would get fruits, Vegetables and other essential items by calling and after checking the prices of items in the Drust Dam App.

Divisional Commissioner Ishrat Ali, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ali and MPA Mian Waris Aziz jointly inaugurated the Home Delivery Service from the office set up at D Type. PTI Leader Mian Nabeel Arshad, AC Sadar Umar Maqbool and other officers were also present. Divisional commissioner said that online service to the citizens for fruits and vegetables is being extended to other populated areas of the city under the phased program and the system will provide the people with one click at home.

He said that services were being provided to the citizens from the point of view of the general bus stand and D ground points and similar fast speed online service would be provide from here. He said that the divisional and district administration were taking drastic steps for effective implementation of the price control mechanism and that the process of checking prices in markets and bazaars was continue process.

Deputy Commissioner said that at this point, the official price should be ensured to provide quality service. He said this service has become famous among citizen and even they are purchasing fruits and vegetables directly from online shops. MPA described the Drust Dam app as a great convenience for the citizens and said that this step would enable them to get the goods they need at home on a controlled rate.

He said that the present govt was focusing more on price control mechanism and in this regard, including the provincial ministers, members of the assembly and senior govt officials were also active in checking the prices of essential commodities in markets. He said that all out support would be provided to district administration for success of price control mechanism. Assistant Commissioner Sadar Umar Maqbool said that citizens would be able to book orders of up to Rs500 by calling phone numbers 03404415176 and 03020061272 by checking the official price of fruits and other items including fruits and vegetables on a regular basis, which would be delivered to them in less than an hour at their doorstep.
