The singer also apologized to those who didn’t like his efforts for PSL 5.

The song featuring singers Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Haroon Rashid and Asim Azhar celebrates the homecoming of the T20 league. However, the song has been receiving negative feedback ever since it hit the internet.

In a lengthy Twitter post, Asim wrote, “I’m sorry to those fans, whom expectations I couldn’t meet. I know you guys wait long enough for this time of the year. But everyone tried their best, tried to do something different and out of their comfort zone, with only good intensions for the love of country and cricket”.

Since people have been comparing the song ‘Tayyar Hain’ with Ali Zafar’s hit PSL anthem, Asim also said that PSL anthems are not a competition and all the singers do this for the same cause, for the better of cricket in Pakistan.

Yesterday, Ali also urged fans to support the singers who have given all their efforts in the making of PSL 5 anthem.
