Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has urged Pakistani government to take strict action against child abuser who raped and murdered 7-year-old in Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She has questioned Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari about the ‘policy’ she was making to deal with child abuse in Pakistan.

Last month, Mazari on Twitter, had announced that the government is preparing a holistic policy on child abuse under the PM’s directive and within two weeks it would be ready with all stakeholders being taken on board.

Commenting on the same post, Mahira asked her if she is ready with the policy or we have to wait for more such cases. “Dear Shireen Mazari it’s been two weeks. Is the policy ready? Another beautiful child raped and murdered. How many more would it take?” she wrote.
