Filmmaker Sarmad Khoosat has once again written an open letter, addressing hurdles he has been facing for the release of his film ‘Zindagi Tamasha’. Khoosat has revealed he is receiving threatening phone calls and messages to stop his movie's release.

Earlier, he wrote a letter to all the higher authorities of Pakistan to help him release his film. This time he has addressed Pakistani nation, seeking advice from them that whether he should drop the idea of releasing his film or not.

He said he has invested two years and all his savings to make ‘Zindagi Tamasha’. The movie has also been passed by all three censor boards but still facing hurdles for some apparently ‘objectionable content’.

However, he has once again cleared that the movie doesn’t have any such content that can cause any trouble or harm anyone’s sentiments.

Khoosat has also posted a screenshot of one the messages he has received, where someone has leaked his personal details in public.

Actress Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed have also came in support of Khoosat. "Time and again we are made to realise our power and our influence. A film (that people haven’t seen) can make some, this scared," Mahira wrote.

while Humayun said that the government must address this issue at the earliest as film-making in Pakistan is already a tough challenge and those who dare to venture into it need to be encouraged and appreciated.
