CBOT corn futures fall

Chicago Board of Trade corn futures ended lower on profit-taking on Monday after rising to a two-month high, traders said. Most-active corn futures touched their highest price since Oct. 22 before pulling back. Traders are hoping Washington and Beijing will sign an agreement soon to ease the trade war that has reduced exports of American farm products to China. However, details are unknown about a commitment from China to buy more US agricultural goods as part of an initial deal. Weekly US corn export inspections of 408,946 tonnes were below analysts' estimates for 450,000-650,000.
