Saudi buys 450,000 tons wheat for July, Septembter shipment

JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia bought 450,000 tons of wheat at $316.92 per ton for shipment during July and Septembter, the kingdom's Grain Silos & Flour Mills Organization (GSFMO) said in an emailed statement on Sunday.

The wheat was bought from Australia, Argentina, the European Union, Canada and the United States, the statement said.

The shipments of 12.5 percent protein wheat will be distributed to the ports of Jeddah and Dammam.
