A Pakistani self-taught producer, Ghauri, has claimed that the track ‘Das Main Ki Pyar Wicho Khateya’, which has taken the video-sharing site TikTok by storm, was recreated by him. However, the track is still uncredited on several platforms and being used while original producer behind it is getting least attention.

When an Indian TikTok user Ishan Bagga posted a small clip of Ghauri's song, it immediately went viral with a lot of celebrities, including TV and movie stars from both Pakistan and India, made several videos. However, due to common TikTok glitch and weak content copyright policy rule, the real producer's work is apparently getting over shadowed.

Ghauri has claimed that on April 29, 2018, the track ‘Das Main Ki Pyar Wicho Khateya’ was uploaded on Youtube and according to him it was his draft project that he made for his own listening and ended up uploading on his channel.

Later that year, a YouTube trap account posted same track claiming someone else’s but Ghauri fans quickly recognized and sent over the track to him. Ghauri requested that credits/name should be mentioned on the video and description for all the hard work he put in.

He also tried reaching out to TikTok about this issue and they replied with a non-responsive email that this is a ‘user-generated content’ and they cannot do anything about it.

The song was originally sung by renowned Punjabi folk singer Yamla Jatt. It has been recreated several times by many artistes.
