KARACHI: Gold surged by Rs 129 to Rs 48,771 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday as its international price improved to $ 1,647 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 150 to Rs 56,900.
Silver closed unchanged at Rs 882.85 per 10 grams.
