Singer John Legend has been named the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ of 2019 by People’s Magazine. Last year, actor Idris Elba was awarded the same title.
Most of the credit for this title goes to Legend’s model wife Christine Teigen as she frequently posts pictures of Legend bringing the heat, as well as tender moments with their children Luna and Miles.
When People magazine announced Tuesday that Legend was their selection for 2019's ‘Sexiest Man Alive’, Teigen had quite the response on Twitter. “My secret is out,” she tweeted. “I have fulfilled my dream of having boned people's sexiest man alive!! an honor”.
The EGOT [Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony] winner also humbly reacted to the announcement by sharing a side-by-side photo of himself and last year’s pick, Idris Elba, to illustrate his surprise.
“1995 John would be very perplexed to be following 2018 Idris Elba as #SexiestManAlive. Hell, 2019 John is about as equally perplexed but thank you People for finding me sexy. I'll take it,” he wrote.
