WELLINGTON: The New Zealand dollar briefly jumped to a session high against the US dollar on Thursday, with market participants saying the move was the result of a mistrade.
The New Zealand dollar rose as high as $0.8257 according to Reuters data, before pulling back to $0.8158 seconds later.
