ISLAMABAD: Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan, counsel for the Prime Minister in contempt of Court case, on Wednesday said being a sovereign forum, the Parliament could undo any judicial decision, besides amending the Constitution.

Talking to media outside the Supreme Court Building, Aitzaz said the parliament could also reverse the court's decision through amendment in the Constitution.

When asked about the decision of the court in Contempt case, he made it clear and dispelled the impression that the Prime Minister was only defending the office of the President.

Responding to a question about arguments, he said, "I have completed my arguments on Wednesday only on Article 10 A before the larger bench."

When asked about impression to pressurise the court, he said "No, No, we are not pressurizing the court we are just clarifying the situation under Article 10 A."

A bench which had initiated and issued notice in the contempt matter should not hear the case as per Article 10 A, he said.

When asked about the immunity, he made it clear that the President till his tenure enjoys complete immunity under the Constitution.
