PARIS: European stock markets closed higher on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top companies up 0.26 percent at 5,666.28 points.
In Frankfurt, the DAX 30 rose 0.63 percent to 6,625.19 points and in Paris the CAC 40 gained 0.51 percent to 3,205.28 points.
