MULTAN: Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC), Muttahida Shehri Mahaz and Tehreek-e-Insaf on Friday organised protest demonstrations against the expected resumption of Nato supplies.

The main demonstration was organised by DPC, which was joined by different politico-religious parties. Hundreds of people including students of seminaries gathered at Hazoori Bagh road after Friday for demonstration. Jamat-u-Dawa leader Hafiz Abdul Ghaffar said that NATO forces were involved in the murder of civilians in Afghanistan.

He said, "we would resist forcefully if Nato supplies restored,"

Criticizing the recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) on restoration of NATO supply, he said this committee has proved itself as committee of national insecurity.
