ISLAMABAD: Special security arrangements have been made in the Supreme Court Building by enhancing security measure including installation of CCTV cameras in court rooms as well as at public entry gates and reception areas of the apex court.

According to a press release issued by the Supreme Court here on Wednesday, entry into court room will be allowed through special passes from March 3.

Passes will also be issued to petitioners, respondents and their learned counsels appearing before the Court.

The entry of journalists who regularly cover Supreme Court proceedings will also be made through passes.

As regards others, passes will be issued to all those who are interested to watch court proceedings but subject to seating capacity in the said Courtroom.

Passes will also be issued on first-come-first-serve-basis may be obtained from the office of the Additional Registrar, Supreme Court.

Entry into Court building will be allowed after checking and searching of bags/purses etc. No Cell phone can be carried inside the Courtroom.
