Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez is now in a commercial at the Saudi airport and has become the first woman celebrity to get visibility at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) airport.

A picture has been going viral, which shows Jacqueline promoting KSA tourism in an advertisement displayed on one of their airports. Jacqueline too shared her excitement through her Instagram Stories and revealed the news to fans. She shared glimpses of her look in the ad, for ‘Hala KSA’.

Jacqueline enjoys a strong fan following on all social media platforms. She has recently released her YouTube channel and in a span of less than two months, nearly 264k people have subscribed to her channel and there have been more than one million views for all her videos to date.

Saudi Arabia has recently begun offering visas for the first time to non-religious tourists. The new visa programme for citizens of 49 countries, including the UK and the US, was announced by Saudi tourism officials, quickly followed by a Twitter campaign exhorting users to #VisitSaudiNow.

As part of the scheme, which promises to deliver a visa in seven minutes, female tourists will be exempted from wearing the all-covering abaya robe, but will be required to dress modestly.
