KARACHI: Gold slipped by Rs 86 to Rs 49,028 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday as its international price increased to $ 1,657 an ounce, market sources said.

According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also dipped by Rs 100 to Rs 57,200.

However, silver closed lower at Rs 900 per 10 grams.
