ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr Asim Hussain has said that democracy was the solution of all problems.
Talking to the state television, he said that the continuity of government policies is the solution of the energy crises in the country.
He said that provinces should contribute to overcome the energy crises and they are responsible to control theft of gas.
Replying to a question, he said the government started long term energy projects in the country to resolve the crises of energy.
He said that it was the result of the policies of Pakistan People's party (PPP) government has reduced the theft of gas from the country.
Replying to another question, he said political consensus is vital point of energy conference and it will help people to understand the energy crises.
The minister said that the excessive use of gas is also a cause of energy crises and after taken the charge he had increased the production of gas 500 million mukab fit in one year.
He said that it was not easy task to convert the coal into energy for gas and electricity.
