UUCH SHARIF: Prime Minister Syed Yo
usuf Raza Gilani visited the Mausoleum of Hazrat Bandgi Muhammad Ghous Gilani Halabi Uuchvi here on Tuesday.

The Prime Minister showed keen interest in the religious artefacts, which carry historical significance, at the mausoleum.

Hazrat Muhammad Ghous Gilani has the lineage of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani, who came from Syria to preach in Uuch Sharif.

The Prime Minister offered Fateha at the shrine of Hazrat Ghous Bandgi, the founder of Qadria lineage and prayed for the progress of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Gilani also paid a visit to Hazrat Mehboob Subhani Abdul Qadir Sani at Uuch Sharif and prayed for the security and safety of the country.

The Prime Minister also went to the grave of her sister and offered Fateha.

Sajjada Nishin Makhdoom Iftikhar ul Hussain Gilani informed the Prime Minister about the historical artifacts at the shrine.

The Prime Minister observed with great respect the footprint of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). He was also shown the broom at the Uuch Sharif mausoleum which was used by Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) for cleaning the Holy Kaaba at the time of conquering of Makkah.

The Prime Minister was also shown the unique copies of the Holy Quran, which also include a Quran Sharif written in gold.

The Prime Minister also looked at a Holy Quran, whose every page starts with the letter Alif.

A two-edged sword of Hazrat Ali (AS), which he used in the Battle of Khyber, is also a source of attraction for the pilgrims.

The Prime Minister observed the sword of Hazrat Ali (AS) with great respect.

The Prime Minister also showed his keen interest in the historical artefacts, including the holy teeth of Hazrat Awais Qarni (RA) - broken in love of Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), rare Quranic copies written with gold in Hijri 590, and rosary, Dastar and rare chronicles of Ghaus-e-Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani.

Sajjada Nishin Uuch Sharif Makhdoom Iftikhar ul Hassan Gilani gave a bead of the holy rosary of Hazrat Ghous Pak, to the Prime Minister as a souvenir.

The Prime Minister also wrote his expressions in a remark book of the Qadria lineage.
