Pakistan, Saudia tied in eternal bond of friendship: Malik

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Tuesday said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would continue to work jointly on every platform for harmony, unity and progress as their peoples were tied in the eternal bond of friendship and brotherhood.

Talking to visiting Saudi Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah, who met with him here, Rehman Malik thanked the Saudi government, especially Khadim-e-Harmaen-Sharifain Shah Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz for assistance for Pakistan after 2005 earthquake and victims of 2010 and 2011 floods.

The minister said both the countries enjoyed friendship which was based on trust and added the bilateral ties would be further promoted in the days to come.

The Saudi Minister said his country had great love and affection for the Pakistani people and would always extend all-out support to them in the hour of need.
