KARACHI: Gold improved by Rs 43 to Rs 48,728 per 10 grams in the local market Tuesday as its international price increased to $ 1,650 an ounce, market sources said.

According to the Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also enhanced by Rs 50 to Rs 56,850.

Silver closed unchanged at Rs 908.57 per 10 grams.
