Vietnam to sell 6 trillion dong bonds on April 16

HANOI: Vietnam's State Treasury will auction 6 trillion dong ($288 million) worth of government bonds next week, the Hanoi Stock Exchange said on Monday.

The State Treasury will sell two-year, three-year and five-year bonds on Monday, April 16, each to raise 2 trillion dong, the exchange said in a statement.

The debt will be issued on April 15, it said.

In the last auction on March 22, the treasury sold 610 billion dong of two-year bonds at a yield of 11.20 percent, 250 billion dong of three-year debt at 11.15 percent, and raised 200 billion dong via five-year bonds at 11.25 percent.
