LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yusaf Raza Gilani called on President Asif Ali Zardari here at the Governor House on Saturday night.
Foreign Minister Ms Hina Rabbani Khar, Interior Minister Senator Rehman Malik, Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani were also present during the meeting.
Security situation was discussed during the meeting.
Spokesperson to the President, Senator Farhatullah Babar said that earlier the President also held a separate meeting with the Prime Minister and Army Chief and discussed the search and rescue operation to save the lives of officers and jawans and the civilians trapped in the snow avalanche in Siachin.
