Soon after the legendary actor's death, a family feud came to light when his daughter Rahma Ali accused step mother actress Rabia Naureen of refraining them from seeing him for the last time and details about his funeral. Rahma had been continuously updating fans and media about father’s illness.

“I really want to tell the world that Rabia Naureen, my father’s second wife, has left the hospital with his body, we don’t know where to go, we don’t even know where he lives. She even said not to visit her home for father’s last rituals,” Rahma Ali said in a video released late Thursday, which she later on removed.

She said that her mother, sister and aunt were at the hospital when her father passed away. She claimed that Naureen had told her aunt that “ye auratein [these ladies] can’t come to her residence to mourn.”

Later, Rahma deleted her video message and said that she has temporary deleted the post because of the sudden backlash she has faced on social media, but soon she will come up with all the truth after this storm passes.

The veteran actor, aged 67, passed away at the Liaquat National Hospital after having suffered from liver disease. Soon after the news broke, Pakistani entertainment industry shared messages to mourn legendary actor's death.
