Addressing the media here at a press conference, he said the country was suffered in the hands of dictators who overthrew the elected governments and established unconstitutional regime for several years.
He said PML-N always fought for democracy and would continue its struggle for the same cause, adding that the party made the country the first Islamic nuclear state in the world.
He said that if the nation would give mandate to PML-N in upcoming general elections it would serve the country and resolve the problems of the poor people.
Referring to power loadshedding, he said that there are alternate energy resources that need to be fully explored to get rid of loadshedding.
Earlier, he welcomed inclusion of Engineer Ameer Muqam in PML-N and termed it a positive sign, adding that the joining of Ameer Muqam is evident of the fact that the people have confidence in PML-N and its leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Former PML-Q Khyber Paktunkhawa president Engineer Ameer Muqam formally announced joining PML-N along his colleagues and supporters.
Ameer Muqam reposed confidence in the wisdom and political acumen of Mian Nawaz Sharif and expressed resolve to work for prosperity of the country under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
