KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, has strongly condemned the blast on Thursday at Malir Halt.
In a statement he said that such cruel and criminal activities can not be tolerated, as such prompt and strict measures are to be adopted for security of the people.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah directed the Inspector General Police (IGP), Sindh, for an immediate and detailed report about incident.
He directed the Police, Rangers and other law enforcing agencies to have constant vigilance on anti-state, anti-social elements, criminals and terrorists.
The Chief Minister Sindh further directed the Police and Rangers to have coordinated efforts for combating the situation.
He said that the police officials were targeted in the blast, who were on duty.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah praised the morale of the law enforcing agencies, and police personnel, who had always faced difficult situation while performing duties for the protection and safety of people.
