KARACHI: Gold plunged by Rs 1,172 to Rs 48,428 per 10 grams in the local market Wednesday as its international price dipped to $ 1,632 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also plummeted by Rs 1,250 at Rs 56,500.
Silver closed lower at Rs 908.57 per 10 grams.
